The entire patient journey in an oncology centre comprises numerous workflows and processes during an entire treatment course. AARO is able to provide analysis of current workflows of the department and suggest improvements and enhancements for the department to perform more efficiently and effectively.
These include developing systems and policies for the department, such as the department organization chart with clear delegation of responsibilities to the team. Patient, documentation, and quality workflow processes would be examined and overhauled if necessary to ensure end-to-end service excellence. AARO recognises that each department functions in a similar, yet unique manner, and we aim to employ our knowledge to enable departments to utilise advanced techniques adaptable to their local practice.
Pinlon Cancer Centre’s patient record storage system was overhauled from left to right based on AARO’s recommendations, drastically improving accessibility, organization, and speed of record retrieval.
